We seek a Construction Project Manager to oversee the projects of a specialized commercial contractor based in Middletown, CT. The ideal candidate will have a construction and project management background and experience controlling 3-10 million dollar jobs. Our client focuses on historic remodeling and restoration work, winning multiple awards across the state of CT. *This is a PERM Direct Hire Role*

Responsibilities:

• In charge of all financial aspects of the project, including the issuance of prime and subcontracts, purchase orders, change orders, and the scope of work
• Manages all materials, contracts, negotiations and buyout of the project
• Ensure all safety equipment and aspects of the project are met
• Manage clients, vendors and collaborate across departments to ensure projects on time and within budget completionResposible for multiple commercial projects
• Requesting necessary permits for the projects
• Preparing project schedules and ensuring deadlines are met
• Managing the worksite team
• Collaborating across multiple departments
• Maintaining customer and subcontractor relationships
• Delivering projects on-time and on-budget

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in construction project management, project coordination, or related fields. 
• Previous  construction experience managing projects above $5M
• Valid CSL is preferred, not required
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, Procore, or relatable pm/office systems
• Must be able to pass a background check and drug test.
