Project Manager
Job Description
Direct Hire role located in Auburn Maine looking for a Project Manager who will work directly with all in-house project team members towards the profitable completion of projects, and act as the information/communication hub for all in-house & customer project team members. A focus on safety, quality, efficiency, and overall company success is required. A candidate for this position must be willing to participate in continuing education, pass a pre-employment physical and be able to work full-time in all weather conditions.
Pay- $80,000 to $110,000
Job Description/Duties:
- Ensure compliance with safety, plumbing codes, and all government agencies
- Adherence to all company policies, emphasizing Standard Operating Procedures
- Work on multiple projects of various complexity and size, simultaneously & in conjunction with all project team members
- Initiate all project turnover meetings with our Estimation Department & project team members
- Consult with Project Teams to devise project work plans, duties, responsibilities, and overall scope of authority.
- Directs, coordinates, and monitors activities being completed by project teams to ensure the overall quality of work.
- Attends weekly and monthly job reviews to ensure proper adjustments are being made to the WIPs and work is being completed smoothly.
- Thoroughly read contract from General Contractor, ensuring scope of work matches project bid letter. Mark-up contract as needed
- Negotiate & buyout Subcontractors as required for project and initiate contracts for Subcontractors.
- Request AutoCAD files for project from General Contractor & provide to project team members.
- Produce a schedule of values for all projects and submit monthly billing as indicated in the contract. This must include Subcontractor billing & approved change orders
- Produce and submit change orders timely (Including Subcontractor Change Orders), and as required for all projects.
- Initiate product data submittal information for all product & equipment associated with the project.
- Initiate all cost code breakout meetings associated with the project & assist with developing the budget estimate for each project as required
- Review Labor Productivity Reports weekly and discuss with project team members
- Ensure that all project team members are working with the most current set of project documents (Plans & Specifications).
- Submit all project coordination drawings and details for review & approval in conjunction with project team members.
Qualifications & Licenses
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid driver’s license
- OSHA 10
- Project Management experience as a General Contractor is a plus
- Strong team building and leadership skills
- Excellent communication skills (verbal & written)
- Receptive to new ideas and questions
- Efficient and organized
