Pre - Construction Manager

STP is helping a large commercial contractor fill a Direct Hire Opportunity for the right high lever Pre- Construction Manager
Position Summary :
The pre-construction manager identifies opportunities, solicits and relates to potential clients, and prepares project submissions responding to solicitations and follow-up interviews/presentations. The Pre-construction Manager also manages pre-construction services on secured projects, works with the Operations group to ensure a smooth transition into the construction phase, and supports Operations during construction regarding the decisions and commitments made during the pre-construction phases. The length and depth of involvement of this individual in the pre-construction and construction phases will vary from project to project depending upon the complexity and size of the project and the overlap of the pre-construction and construction phases.
Responsibilities :
- Supervising - Responsibilities include training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
- Essential Functions- Prepare Qualifications & Exclusions and site-specific construction-related information needed to support the pre-construction process.
- Experience working with Design/Built projects as well as Negotiated projects.
- Talent management, getting to know the team, and placing the right workers with the right roles in the pre-construction process.
- High-level pre-construction operational knowledge.

- Bachelor's Degree and 10+ years of related experience
- Proficiency required in: Microsoft Word, Project, and Excel
- Proficiency is encouraged in using Microsoft PowerPoint, AutoCAD, Bluebeam and BIM software.
- A robust benefits package with a salary range of 100-160k, depending on experience, includes retirement options, insurance PTO, and more.
