The Sign Maker is responsible for the fabrication, assembly, and finishing of custom signs in a production shop environment. This role involves operating various equipment, interpreting design files, and ensuring high-quality output that meets client specifications and company standards.

 Pay $25-30 an hour

 Key Responsibilities:

• Fabricate and assemble signs using materials such as vinyl, acrylic, metal, PVC, and wood.
• Operate and maintain production equipment including plotters, printers, laminators, CNC routers, and saws.
• Prepare and apply vinyl graphics and digital prints to various substrates.
• Read and interpret work orders, blueprints, and design files for accurate production.
• Performing tasks such as cutting, mounting, painting, and assembly.
• Inspect completed signs for quality assurance and ensure adherence to project deadlines.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Collaborate with the design and installation teams to ensure accurate production and timely delivery.

Qualifications:

• 3 years of experience in sign making, fabrication, or related production work preferred.
• Knowledge of sign materials, fabrication methods, and finishing techniques.
• Ability to read and interpret design files (Adobe Illustrator, CorelDRAW, or similar).
• Strong attention to detail and quality craftsmanship.
• Comfortable working with hand tools, power tools, and shop machinery.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
• Team-oriented with strong communication and time management skills.
