Maintenance Tech
Job Description
We are seeking a reliable and skilled Maintenance Technician to join our warehouse team in Rowley Ma. The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for ensuring the shop equipment is running properly, perform general Maintenace of vehicles, shop machinery and equipment, organize clean and safe shop. This role involves performing regular maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs to keep operations running smoothly and prevent downtime.
Monday - Friday with optional Saturdays
Key Responsibilities:
- Must have strong mechanical problem solving and decision-making skills
- Able to read, comprehend and work from technical documents, blueprints and electrical schematics
- Able to perform basic carpentry, electrical, plumbing and welding projects in the course of minor repairs
- Good communication skills, including the ability to read and speak English fluently
- Comfortable with using technology in a paperless environment, including the use of administrative and maintenance related software programs
- Quality and safety minded, strong knowledge of current OSHA regulations, certifications as plus
- Experience in industrial machine maintenance, electrical systems, simple controls and mechanical systems, and automotive maintenance
- State issued Driver’s license in good standing (will operate registered vehicles)
- Must have reliable transportation to work
- Able to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or training in maintenance or a related field is a plus.
- Proven experience as a Maintenance Technician, preferably in a warehouse or industrial environment.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
- Proficient in the use of hand and power tools, diagnostic equipment, and safety gear.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Basic computer skills to maintain maintenance logs and reports.
