Looking for an an Installer in Lock haven PA. As an Installer you will assists with tasks related to the installation of structured cabling systems.  Primarily assists with the installation of cable pathways and installation of overhead cabling.

 Pay is $18-22 an hour

Working 40 hours/week, scheduled in 8 to 10 hour shifts.

 Duties and Responsibilities

• Completes appropriate level of skill development and on-the-job training
• Gains exposure to telecommunication drawings and installation specifications
• Assists in the installation of primary and secondary cable raceway systems
• Assists with the installation of horizontal and backbone cabling
• Assists with the installation and termination of work area outlets
• Assists with the installation and labeling at the work area outlet location
• Assists with the testing of copper cable
• Assists with high count copper terminations

Job Qualifications 

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Basic math and measurement skills
• Good mechanical aptitude and proficiency with common hand tools
• Ability to use basic power tools (e.g. drills, circular saws, band saws, etc.)
• Basic personal computing skills and familiarity with Microsoft office programs to include Outlook, Excel and Word. 
• Must have reliable personal transportation to and from the assigned work location/office
• Must maintain a valid drivers license and good driving record

 Physical Requirements:

• Standing and climbing 4 to 6 hours/day.
• Kneeling, lifting, reaching above shoulders, and bending (90°)4 to 5 hours/day.
• Twisting (180° ) and walking 2 to 3 hours/day.
• Squatting and sitting 1 to 2 hours/day.
• Lifting weights of 0 to 100 lbs. at the following frequencies: continuous lifting of 10 to 35 lbs.; frequent lifting of 35 to 50 lbs.; occasional lifting of 50 to 100 lbs.; sizes & shapes of objects vary from concrete blocks to cylinders to 20’ lengths of conduit; average carry requirements, 60 lbs. for 40'.
• Environmental factors include working in: temperature extremes of 0° F to 100° F; up to 8 hours inside or outside; atmospheric exposure to dust, gases, fumes, and odors, and poor ventilation in confined spaces
