We are looking for a General Manager focused in HVAC in Norwalk CT. As the General Manager you are responsible for the full P&L and day-to-day performance of the business unit. This includes financial management, staffing, sales, field operations, customer satisfaction, and compliance with brand and safety standards. The GM leads the office, dispatch, and field teams, ensuring efficient scheduling, high productivity, and outstanding service delivery.

Pay is $100,000-$130,000

Key Responsibilities

• Full operational ownership of P&L, budgets, and job costing
• Hire, train, and manage technicians, installers, and office staff
• Ensure consistent adherence to safety, quality, and brand standards
• Drive revenue and profitability through operational excellence and local marketing execution
• Oversee dispatch and scheduling, inventory, vendor relations, and fleet management
• Review KPIs daily and adjust operations to hit targets
• Foster a culture of accountability, professionalism, and customer care

Qualifications:

• 10+ years in residential or light commercial HVAC / plumbing / home services
• 5+ years in management or senior supervisory capacity
• Proven success in P&L management, job costing, and team development
• Strong leadership, communication, and people-management skills
• Comfortable in a field-centric, fast-paced environment — not just an office role
• Local market knowledge and valid driver’s license required
• EPA certification and trade license preferred, bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
