We are looking for experienced Foremen for a Heavy Civil Commercial Company in Newington NH. The Foreman directly manages the lead personnel/staff for each project they oversee. Projects are an hour from Nashua in both MA and NH. 

Pay $30-45 an hour

Daily Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate field crews on heavy civil construction projects (e.g., earthwork, utilities, concrete, roadways, drainage).
• Enforce and promote a strong safety culture; conduct daily safety briefings and ensure compliance with OSHA standards.
• Interpret blueprints, plans, and specifications to ensure construction aligns with project goals.
• Schedule work, assign tasks, and manage labor, equipment, and materials on-site.
• Communicate effectively with project managers, subcontractors, inspectors, and suppliers.
• Track progress, document daily activities, and submit daily field reports.
• Assist with problem-solving and ensure timely resolution of field issues.
• Mentor and train crew members to enhance performance and safety awareness.

Requirements

• 5+ years of supervisory experience in heavy civil construction (site development, utilities, excavation, etc.)
• In-depth knowledge of construction equipment, techniques, and procedures.
• Proven leadership and team management skills.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
• Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
• OSHA 30 certification preferred.
• Valid driver’s license required.
