We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Heavy Equipment Operator to join our team in Milwaukee, WI. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating various types of heavy machinery including excavators, bulldozers, loaders, backhoes, and skid steers, to assist in construction, demolition, excavation, or roadwork projects throughout the region.

 Pay $30-40 an hour

 Key Responsibilities:

• Operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently on job sites
• Perform daily equipment inspections and basic maintenance
• Follow site plans, blueprints, and grade stakes as needed
• Load/unload materials and move earth or other materials as required
• Adhere to safety protocols and company policies at all times
• Work in coordination with site supervisors, laborers, and other crew members
• Report mechanical problems or safety issues immediately
• Maintain accurate work logs and equipment usage records

 Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED
• Proven experience operating heavy equipment (2+ years preferred)
• Valid Wisconsin Hoisting License
• Strong understanding of job site safety practices (OSHA certification a plus)
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varying weather conditions
• Reliable transportation to and from job sites
• Willingness to work overtime, nights, and weekends if necessary
