Commercial Construction Safety Liaison-Exeter RI

Pay $30-40 an hour 

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Commercial Construction Safety Liaison to oversee and enforce safety protocols on large-scale residential multi-unit projects. The ideal candidate will have 5-10 years of experience in the field, strong technical skills, and a proactive approach to maintaining workplace safety.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement job-specific safety plans to ensure compliance and minimize risks.
• Conduct and oversee inspections for cranes, equipment, and job site safety measures.
• Certify and ensure adherence to fall safety standards and protocols.
• Draft daily safety plans tailored to specific job activities and site conditions.
• Prepare and submit daily safety reports detailing observations, incidents, and recommendations.
• Provide training and demonstrate proficiency in various computer programs used for reporting and safety documentation.
• Collaborate on specialized tasks such as roof truss installation, ensuring safety procedures are rigorously followed.

Qualifications:

• 5-10 years of experience in commercial construction, particularly with large residential multi-unit projects.
• Certification in fall safety and strong knowledge of construction safety protocols.
• Familiarity with roof truss installation is a plus.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in or willingness to train in relevant computer programs.
