Construction Parts Buyer & Buyer Specialist
Job Description
A small independent company is seeking a Construction Parts Buyer & Seller Specialist in South Windsor CT to help manage our inventory and support our loyal customer base with parts and light equipment solutions.
Pay $60,000-$65,000 a year
Hours 7am-5pm
Responsibilities:
- Source and order parts for light construction equipment
- Assist contractors with parts and product recommendations
- Build long-term customer and vendor relationships
- Maintain inventory levels and process purchase orders
- Support service team and ensure parts availability
- Generate quotes, process sales orders, and manage invoicing and returns.
- Upsell additional items and offer parts alternatives when original items are unavailable
Qualification:
- Experience in construction equipment or parts sales preferred
- Strong product knowledge and customer service mindset
- Solid communication and organizational skills
- Self-motivated and able to work in a fast-paced environment
