Carpenter
Job Description
We are looking for a skilled Carpenter to join our team in Milwaukee Wisconsin. This role involves constructing, repairing, and installing building frameworks, furniture, and other wood-based structures for residential, commercial, and industrial projects. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and able to work from blueprints or technical drawings with minimal supervision.
Pay $23-35 an hour
Key Responsibilities:
- Measure, cut, shape, and assemble wood, metal, and other materials.
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and project specifications.
- Install doors, windows, cabinets, trim, and other fixtures.
- Repair and maintain existing wooden structures and fixtures.
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and woodworking machinery safely.
- Maintain a clean and organized worksite, following all safety protocols.
- Work independently or collaboratively to meet project deadlines.
- Communicate effectively with clients, supervisors, and team members.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical training in carpentry preferred.
- 3+ years of carpentry experience
- Proficient in using a variety of carpentry tools and equipment.
- Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings.
- Strong math and measurement skills.
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various weather conditions.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
