CDL Truck Driver
Job Description
We are looking for a CDL A Truck Driver in the Tolland CT area to operator a dump truck transporting goods and materials to designated destinations.
CDL Truck Driver Duties and Responsibilities
- Responsibilities include operating dumb truck transporting construction material to and from job sites and assisting the construction crew when needed.
- Safely load and unload cargo, ensuring it is properly secured to prevent damage during transit.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, promptly reporting any maintenance or safety issues.
- Maintain accurate records of trips, including driver logs, mileage, and delivery receipts.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations.
- As needed, assist with the loading and unloading of cargo and ensure the accurate counting and inspection of freight.
CDL Truck Driver Requirements and Qualifications
- Valid CDL A license
- Clean driving record with no history of major accidents or traffic violations
- 5+ years of demonstrated commercial driving experience
- Knowledge of and adherence to all federal and state transportation regulations.
