Assistant Project Manager

Job Description

In this important position, you will gain critical skills as you provide support to our Project Managers and/or Superintendents and play a critical role in the success of our projects; you will be responsible for the following tasks:

  • Planning/Identifying: client needs and goals and creating a detailed plan for project completion
  • Coordination/Analyzing: and coordinating the schedule, timeline, procurement, staffing, and budget
  • Administration/Organizing: and maintaining project documents, updating databases, and managing calendars
  • Communication/Working: with team members, vendors, clients, and employees to determine and meet project expectations
  • Reporting/Tracking: and preparing reports and presentations for project review
  • Other: Managing a subset of the project, such as a phase or deliverable, or performing other routine, standardized project management duties 

Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field (Master’s degree may be preferred).
  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and safety standards.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools.
  • Knowledge of relevant building codes and regulations.
