We are seeking motivated Solar Apprentices to join our growing team in Minnesota. As a Solar Apprentice, you will work alongside licensed electricians and solar installers to learn the trade while gaining hands-on experience in solar energy system installation, maintenance, and repair. This is an entry-level position with on-the-job training and career growth opportunities in the renewable energy industry.

Pay is $58 an hour 

Responsibilities:

• Assist in the installation of residential and commercial solar PV systems under supervision.
• Learn proper use of hand tools, power tools, and electrical testing equipment.
• Support licensed electricians with wiring, conduit runs, and system connections.
• Help with site preparation, layout, racking, and module placement.
• Maintain a clean and safe job site, following OSHA and company safety standards.
• Load, unload, and organize materials and equipment.
• Participate in training programs and log required hours toward electrical apprenticeship licensing in Minnesota.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Registered Apprentice
• Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn solar installation practices.
• Ability to follow directions and work as part of a team.
• Comfortable working outdoors and at heights.
• Physically able to lift 50+ lbs and perform manual labor in varying weather conditions.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required.
