Lead Electricial Foreman
Job Description
We are currently seeking Lead Electrician Foreman to join our family team of over 41 years. This position is for permanent full-time employment to work within the state of Massachusetts and New Hampshire. The Lead Electrical Foreman will perform a full range of duties in the installation, maintenance, and repair of wiring and equipment, while leading a team of licensed electrician, apprentices and co-op students.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
- Supervise and maintain a productive workflow for 5-20 electricians and apprentices.
- Communicate well with clients, internal team members, peers, and all levels of management.
- Coordinate with project managers/general contractors to ensure project requirements are met.
- Address any challenges or changes that impact production in a professional manner and offer proper resolution.
- Willingness to comply with all company safety guidelines, OSHA regulations and local codes.
- Able to lead by example, with a positive attitude and patience, in a team atmosphere.
- Mentor/coach electrical apprentices and team members.
General Requirements
- Must have a Massachusetts’ Journeyman Electrician's License with at least 5 years of experience
- Has successfully led an electrical team in construction setting
- Reliable and committed to working at least 40 hours per week
- Be willing to be licensed in New Hampshire, if the location is applicable.
- Exhibit professional appearance and conduct while performing assigned duties.
- Positive attitude and motivated to work in a team environment.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment screening including driving record, background check, and drug test.
Physical Requirements
- Must be able to handle a workload of up to 75 pounds.
- Has OSHA-30 or be willing to obtain before starting date.
- Must be able to work in all elements such as cold, rain, snow, heat, etc.
- Continuous walking, standing, climbing, balancing, crouching, pulling, reaching and stooping is required.
- Must be able to perform work at various heights and be comfortable working from ladders, lifts, scaffolds, etc.
